This 100% nylon 66 (N66) fabric, specified as 1050D*1050D and 405gsm, is ultra-heavy-duty with exceptional durability. Boasting superior tear resistance, tensile strength and weatherability, it’s ideal for hiking backpacks, tactical gear, luggage shells, heavy workwear and outdoor tent flysheets. It can be coated for enhanced water resistance. However, it’s quite heavy, has poor breathability and a stiff texture, with a higher cost than polyester. Perfect for high-wear, long-lasting functional applications.
